Learning in Public Systems

Reflections on technical learning through debugging, shipping, reading source, and documenting the parts that finally clicked.

Learning in public does not have to mean broadcasting every unfinished thought.

For me, it means leaving a trail that another engineer could follow: what I tried, what broke, what changed my mind, and what I would check first next time.

The best technical notes are not polished essays at the start. They are maps of the terrain after you have walked it.

That is the kind of writing I want this site to hold: practical, honest, and specific enough to be useful later.
